Buenavista Community College (BCC) continues to demonstrate its commitment to student success—not only by providing quality education but also by preparing graduates for meaningful careers.
As part of its career readiness initiatives, BCC successfully conducted a Pre-Employment Orientation Seminar (PEOS) for more than 1,000 graduating students. The seminar aimed to equip future graduates with essential knowledge and practical insights on workplace expectations, company policies, professional ethics, work values, and occupational safety, empowering them to confidently transition from the classroom to the professional world.
The successful implementation of this program reflects the vision and dedication of the BCC Administration, led by Dr. Analiza Chua, in ensuring that every BCCnian is prepared to become a competent, responsible, and employable professional.
BCC also extends its heartfelt appreciation to the distinguished resource speakers:
- Ms. Maria Vilma Yorong, Head of the Bohol Provincial Employment Service Office (PESO), and
- Ms. Doreen Fullido, Head of the Job Referral and Placement Division,
for sharing their expertise and valuable guidance that inspired and informed our graduating students about employment opportunities and career preparation.
Special thanks are likewise extended to Ms. Mirasol Valendez Pogoy Intong, Human Resource Management Officer (HRMO) of the Municipality of Buenavista, for facilitating the successful conduct of the PEOS and contributing to the event’s meaningful outcomes.
