The Local Government Unit of Buenavista proudly celebrates another milestone as it was recognized as the Top Performing LGU among 1st Class Municipalities for its Outstanding Achievement in Real Property Tax (RPT) Administration for Calendar Year 2025.

Achieving an impressive 112.87% Real Property Tax Collection Efficiency, the municipality has demonstrated exceptional performance in local revenue generation—an accomplishment that reflects sound fiscal management, efficient tax administration, and the strong partnership between the local government and its taxpayers.

Taxes are the lifeblood of government. They provide the resources necessary to deliver essential public services, develop infrastructure, strengthen social programs, and improve the overall quality of life of every Buenavistahanon. This recognition underscores the municipality’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and excellence in public service.

This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the personnel of the Municipal Treasurer’s Office, led by Mr. Elmer Mero (Retired), and the Municipal Assessor’s Office, headed by Ms. Luzminda Estoreon. Their unwavering commitment to efficient tax administration and revenue collection has greatly contributed to the municipality’s outstanding performance.
